Kristi Yamaguchi (born 12 July 1971 in Hayward, California), is an American figure skater. She was the Olympic Champion for Ladies' singles in 1992. She won the World Figure Skating Championship in 1991 and 1992, and is inducted in the US Olympic Hall of Fame in December 2005. She starred in the 6th season of Dancing with the Stars.
