Giada de Laurentiis (born 22 August 1970 in Rome, Italy), is an Italian American TV personality as host of her own cooking show Giada at Home on the Food Network. She has won a Daytime Emmy Award and was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2012. Giada is a contributor and guest co-host of NBC's Today show. She designed cooking products sold exclusively at Target, and has published many cookbooks including Giada at Home and Weeknights with Giada, both of which were number one sellers on The New York Times Best-Seller list. She is a chef, writer, and a spokesmodel for Clairol Natural Instincts hair color (2012).
